Housing Access and Supports (HAS)
Housing Access and Supports (HAS) is tenant-based rental assistance specifically for individuals that are very low and low income with a serious mental illness who are:
✦ Transitioning from the Oregon State Hospital
✦ Transitioning from a licensed residential setting
✦ Without supportive housing who are at risk of re-entering a licensed residential or hospital setting
✦ Are homeless or at risk of being homeless
The HAS program is offered through a partnership between Mid-Columbia Housing Authority and Mid-Columbia Center for Living. HAS funds can be used in Hood River, Sherman or Wasco counties in Oregon.
Applications for the HAS program are accepted by Mid-Columbia Center for Living on a referral basis from a social service provider or doctor.
